As a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, I am trained to work with all aspects of interpersonal relationships. I have a private practice in Berkeley, California, with a clinical specialty in working with relationship issues, doing psychotherapy with couples and individuals.
In my more than thirty-five years of clinical practice, I have treated many hundreds of couples, ranging from those seeking guidance for an essentially sound relationship encountering difficulty, to couples who are convinced that they’re headed for divorce. I also offer case consultation to therapists on their work with the challenging couple they treat.
I have been a guest lecturer on marriage and sexuality and have made numerous radio appearances. My writing has appeared on The Huffington Post,The Good Men Project, xo Jane, Real Simple, and on myrelationship advice blog, Speaking of Marriage. My forthcoming book, It Takes One to Tangoisabout empowering one partner to create far-reaching positive change in a marriage, whether or not his or her spouse joins in the effort.
